This piece of art is meant to represent that sometimes you need to retreat from the outer world and go within to discover who you really are. We are constantly exposed to different outside streams of information and oftentimes other people, such as our parents, teachers, friends, they have an idea of who we should be. This can be overwhelming and when you don’t have a proper way to distinguish others voice from your own you might try and live up to the image of what others perceive you to be. But going inside, retreating from the outside noise will allow you to hear your own inner guidance. It will allow you to develop and grow in new ways that you didn’t realise were possible until then.
